Is Spring here?

 

Time too get ready for warmer weather.

 

Re-arranging the back deck has become a priority.(pictures to follow when finished)

 

The to-do list includes:

 

# Reposition the Tiki Bar and general required up keep.

# Pressure clean the deck(mostly done by wife)

# Hang the new hammock(for napping in the spring breeze)

# Reposition the chairs and dinning table

# Tiki Torches to keep bugs away

 

This time of year I always think of my high school days learning to play backgammom and a game called "Mastermind".

 

Living in remote neighborthood and being socially adopted by a neighbor Dr. and his wife, I would shine his shoes on Saturday and would be given the chance to either double or loose the money I made shinning shoes. It was a good lesson. He taught me allot while we played for hours at a time. He even allowed me to attend some of his surgeries, and watch while standing next to him.

 

I saw allot, even autopsies performed by the pathologist. I guess cleanning fish and field dressing game after hunting prepared me for the blood and guts. Also, being in a medical environment, talking about anatomy and bloody stuff was very common.
