Goal / Rules / Purpose  of Blog

1/9/13

This blog was the idea of my wife to keep me busy and give me something to do during the day besides bugging her while she provides for the family.

I agreed to do it with the selfish thought of "my way only" and by my own set up rules and parameters. I would only discuss topics that I choose.

Rule#1 Only use Free stuff

This website has a total of less than .01 spent on its development and it shows.

Rule#2   No donations or advertising money accepted.

This site has a purpose of NOT promoting any drug or drug company or any special interest agenda other than providing an independent opinion..Mine

Take what ever money you feel like donating to me or a charity

and take a friend to lunch or buy a gift for someone who would enjoy it.

Rule#3 Only say  positive things about life and other topics

There is so much crap floating around for people to glum onto and believe, it is a BIG waste of time and maybe MS has brought a new appreciation of time, past, present and future. You've heard the saying, "if you've got nothing good to say, don't say anything"

Rule#4  Share experiences and tell you about my friends

I have been extremely fortunate to have some of the best people as good friends.

I'll share a story from my first college career(one of many).

A California immature kid transplanted in Florida for the first time at a college, I had never seen or even heard of all. At my parents directive to attend college and they would still support me.

The first day, while standing in line to register for algebra class(before automated computers) and talking to a fellow female freshman, (thinking "this is how college is going to be? I like it") There was another curly hair boy, standing  on the other side of her and "giving her the business" too.

Too shorten a long story, we signed up for the same class and became good friends, and still keep in touch 35 years later. We pledged the same fraternity, which is another set of stories. I met some of the best people I know in that frat even though it seemed everyone else(other frats) had nothing nice to say about them. I put that decision as one the best decisions I've ever made. Made some life long friends.

Rule#5  Continue building and improving the website

Knowing that things  here are a are always changing and I'm sure if you look closely, you will find some errors.  There is a long way to go and maybe I'll get there. I am not a writer and hated my college writing classes.

There are much better writers and bloggers, here are a few

http://richardmcohen.com/

http://www.wheelchairkamikaze.com/

They provide a great goal to strive for. They both write about life with MS.

#6  Any questions, refer to rule #1
