Birthday Week-End

Fun week-end with family and working on tikki bar after a trip to Home Depot..(mostly brother in-law). It was warm, and the heat renders me useless, so a nap inside was in order.I still have some minor work to do when the weather allows.

It was fun/nice to catch up on family changes and goings on.

I think my daughter, seeing and hearing about her family nuances is a good self learning tool. She finds it very interesting as well.

Not that I give a shit, still no "hello" or "how are you" from a father who was happy to sever any and all communication when told of my MS diagnosis. Narcissism is alive and well. We all live with the decisions we make.

The tikki bar with sound and tikki torches on the back deck will be in full swing by the end of the week.

I think I will change the name of this blog to "Views from the Big Hammock" oncw the weather permits me to spend more time outside on the hammock in the corner. The breeze is nice.

It was nice to get and read all of the B'day cards. Even got one from one of my mom's best friends. A lady who still sees me as the little boy I was.  Thats' nice.

Back to reality!!!!  Nap time.
