"Looking good Billy Ray".."Feeling good Lewis"
This a favorite line from a movie. Trading Places with Eddie Murphy. The pic looks much worse than it is. Just a few stitches.
I was a frequent visitor to the ER when I was younger. They could fix most anything with just a few shots and a few stitches. I was used too it.
Better, than taking a pill with side effects three times a day for a week.
I used to joke about my parents would be broke if they weren't in the hospital business. When a "problem" would occur, I would have my parents just call the ER and tell them I was coming in. The pain was never unbearable to just wait until "you can go to our ER". Things like this outpatient procedure is just a nusance.
Stuff like MS that can't be fixed with an ER visit is a real pain. Problems that can't be seen are usually the toughest to be fixed. They are open to personal interpetation, which can be explosive. I wished I could just go to an ER and get it fixed, like the old days.
It's interesting with all of the new "discoveries"( I say that laughingly) regarding fixing the MS problem. You would think that the goverment would address this.
They need people working and paying taxes(and making political contributions). I guess drug companies have this cornered. No to be political, but it comes down to the purse strings.
The "Big Chair" comes from a childhood memory of my Grandfather(Russell) comming at night from his office and watching TV from HIS big chair. I often thought the Archie Bunker character was based on him. Edith was based on my Grandmother. It was very surreal.
I've been told, that I have allot of the same characteritics as Russell, good and bad. Mostly bad.
Nap time!!!
