New hobby???

It's neat watching the growth of a baby eagle as he/she wonders outside the confines of the nest and to be fed by one of the adult eagles.  Marlon Perkins, eat your heart out. This was never on Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. I feel the same. not wanting to leave my nest.

A big reclining chair,tv with remote, and a roof is my kind of nest.

Although, I do remember getting kicked out my nest on my 18th birthday. It was explained as a house rule when I was 14. At least I knew it was coming.  It might have seemed harsh at the time, but it was very liberating to be responsible at such an  early time in my life.

Hearing about the 18 year old girl suing her parents is comical.

I partied my way through the first 4 years of college and worked my way through the next three years. Working and going to school at the same time was allot of commitment, but I survived and had fun doing it.

Met some very neat people and their families along the way and had some experiences that most people only wish for. Looking back, it was a good thing.

The total experience, that allowed me to see beyond the nest, has made me appreciate and understand the big bad world.

Being able to watch eggs hatch and a growing bird is a pretty neat hobby.

Hope I see the first flight
