In the Infusion room getting ass kicked

I thought that I would try to blog while I get a trial drug(ocrelizumab or placebo). So, I brought my laptop with me today. Not a big deal..

Right now we are just waiting for the IV to warm-up.  They have to get the drug from somewhere off site and it got cool during transport being delivered.

They now have cable TV in the IV lounge , so I'm watching the news about the State of the Union address from last night. Obama was not very convincing, and only spoke in political  generalities.

If he wanted to do some good,  I have some selfish suggestions for him and congress. Of course, they have to do with MS and drugs for the treatment. and exrperiences of MS'srs.

   # Allow insurers to sell across state lines. It's a benefit to the population and doesn't cost $.  ( How much of a no-brainer is this?)

   # Allow tax credits to drug companies for cures. The economy would defintely benefit from more people working, and again, NO Cost.

   # While creating jobs and touting natural gas production, open up the pipeline from Canada.

   # Sell some govt. assets to raise funds and eliminate maint. costs on bldgs not used.

Watching the news highlighting Atlanta's failures of planning for bad weather. Thes eare the who people govern us?

How do they even plan when to go to the bathroom? Are they at least potty trainned? Maybe CNN needs something borring to talk about?

About now, I would say, ,"Nap time" but I'm trying to stay awake during the IV insfusion. I'll know better next time.

Maybe not getting the usual nap, and getting pumped full  of drugs, but I'm still kicking and at home now in the Big Chair . feeling very kicked..

Man, it's cold..

I was very suprised to hear my Nuero say something positive about a stem cell treatment in trial. I think she is the right person for me. She takes and responds to my emails.
