The PETA Principle

Being in a drug trial study, I was intrigued when a friend sent me a YouTube link of a PETA disruption and protest at a commercil airline meeting/convention. Is this thier gorilla marketing campaign? For PETA's sake that I hope no animals were harmed  at this event Was it created at a PR firm whose office is the corner table at a retail ganja shop in Colardo?

I bet a coupon was used from a local Hemp shop magazine for 50% discount?  Did this PR firm know who thier target audience should have been? The crowd was a bunch of airline industry sales people, whose livelyhood is this inustry.

They were protesting the airline poviding transportation of animals to labs for research. They should be greatful and thank the airlines for bearing some of the burden of helpping to find cures and treatmehnts of terrible diseases' None of thier family or friends have ever been diagnosed with a hopefully curable disease?  They must be willng to standby and just watch as friends and family members suffer.

I feel that is very hipocritical..Just my opinion.

We have two(2) pets both rescued from being "put down" for various reaons.

Willow who is a 130 lb. black dog from the rescue mission. The Rescue Mission, said she had two things against her. She was too big and black. Thos are the two hardest attributes for pet adoption.  She can eat off of the kitchen counter with out even standing on back legs. She was one day away from the gas chamber

Stockings(or Tripod as I call him) is our three legged cat that was mamed as a kitten when he climbed up into a warm car engine, and the car was started mangling one of his back legs. The owner brought him to vet to be "put down". My wife brought him home to teach our 3 yr old daughter that it was important to help to hlp those who can't. That was 13 years ago.

He "owns" his own big dog now.

All of this said,  "PETA get yout priorites  straight."
